Nic's First Turkey

Nic uses a Knight and Hale call to bag his first turkey.

Sixteen-year-old Nic Halchin bags his first turkey using a Knight and Hale turkey call. He attracted 4 longbeards right away and took down a turkey that weighed almost 20 pounds!

Tennessee Turkey Hunting

Lindsay with her 19-pound Tennessee bird.

After several years of deer hunting, Lindsay Creasy was looking for a change. Turkey hunting proved to be just the excitement she was looking for. With the help of her Knight and Hale turkey call, she harvested three birds during the Tennessee turkey hunting season.

Archery Fox

It found it's moving target and dropped him on the spot.

After last deer season I had spent alot of time scouting the area I was planning to hunt this season.  Every time I had gone into the area after a snow or rain I had seen fox tracks.  I had hunted coyotes on numerous occassions but had never taken a fox.  I decided it was time, so I set up on the edge of a field with the wind blowing into my face.  Click here for the story...

Our Special Day

“Dad, this is a day to remember”

It was the opening day of the 2008 Kentucky Youth Season and Jacob, my 8 year old son and I decided we would go to the woods.  We hadn’t planned to go, but we thought it would be fun to spend some time in the woods together.  We didn’t get up early and wasn’t in any rush, so it was late morning before we left.    Click here for story

Pennsylvania Monster

I heard him crash and knew he was down.....

I had been waiting for the rut to kick in before hunting a food plot I had planted.  I had a few pictures on the trail cam of some nice bucks but they had stopped coming in during daylight.  The weather turned cold and I had seen some young buck chasing doe in the other places I had hunted so on Halloween night I gave the food plot a try.  Rainy New York Morning

This buck turned out to be alot bigger than I could have ever imagined......

It was November 15th, the opening day of the NY gun season. I was in my stand before daylight on a rainy, but very warm morning.  I had previously hunted this stand during the bow season i had seen numerous mature bucks that I would have been very happy to harvest. The woods were very active with rutting bucks chasing does this morning. Click here for the story

Addison's Turkey

I thought you all would get a kick out of seeing my 10 year olds turkey she shot on April 21 2008 in Michigan.
I called for her using your box call that i have had a number of years and some mouth calls that were made by you guys, thanks for the great products you put out for us hunters. My daughter Addison is a new hunter and is quite good with your calls also. She also enjoys your t.v. show.

Chris' 10-point buck

 Chris' 10-point buck

Here is a picture of my 10-point buck that fell to the Knight & Hale Magnum Grunter on the last day of the Kentucky muzzleloader season. I'd seen this buck on images taken with my Moultrie Game Spy camera, so I decided to sit all day. At 3 p.m., I heard a deer on the ridge above me and I was able to grunt this buck into easy range of my Knight Disc Extreme. Thanks for a great product.

My First Deer

My name is Amber K. and I am 9 years old.  I asked my dad if he would take me deer hunting this year and he said he would take me during the late muzzle loader season.  We went for two days and saw 2 deer but they were too far away.  On our third night out we were sitting in our ground blind when just before dark two does and this buck came walking out.  Click here for the story

Jim's 9-point buck

Jim's 9-point buck

I used a Knight & Hale Rattle Bag and a Translator deer call to bring this buck out of a pine thicket. I was hunting with my long time friend and guide Chris Farmer. After my second rattle and grunt sequence this old buck came into easy range of my muzzleloading rifle. Chris had patterned this buck with a Moultrie trail camera for a month. We hunted one day and a 45 yard shot was the outcome. Thanks for a great line of products!

Turkey Hunting in Wellman, IA

 A double with bows!

We got set up about a half hour before first light. We were graced with no less then 4 toms and their thundering gobbles inside 100 yards of our location. John and I settled in for a great morning. We called the the gobblers off and on most of the morning. The call that John was using, a Knight & Hale Yella Hammer, was the ticket.  Click here for the story

Tennessee Whitetail

The buck of my dreams!

I harvested this monster 10 point buck by using my Knight and Hale EZ Grunter Plus November 11th.  He scored 161 3/8 and weighed in at 225 lbs.  I was in a treestand in a big white oak about 30 feet off the ground.  I started using the call just at the break of daylight hoping to lure out the huge buck I had seen a couple days earlier.  When he showed up I couldn't believe it.  I took aim and fired and got the biggest buck in Dickson and Hickman counties in  TN.  The buck of my dreams!

Lisandro's 8-point buck

 Lisandro's 8-point buck

Major Lisandro Murphy of Queens, NY, shot this fine 120-class main frame, perfectly symmetrical buck on November 9, 2006 while on military leave in Suffolk, Virginia. After using a combination of Knight & Hale rattling bag, grunting and doe bleating on the fine crisp morning, this big buck came in a clearing through the swamp to investigate while Lisandro prepared and carried out the shot. Lisandro used a T/C Encore in 7mm Rem Mag to drop this buck in his tracks.

Larry's 8-point buck

Larry's 8-point buck

I harvested this buck during the 2006 Bow Season. He was following two does and by using your Knight & Hale Hands Free Grunter, I was able to pull him away from the does. He gave me a shot at 21 yards. If it wasn't for the grunt call I would have watched him continue on with his Lady Friends.

Daniel's 10-point deer

Daniel's 10-point deer

It was opening day of the missouri firearms season. My dad and I were hunting some hardwoods in central Missouri. We hadn't seen a thing all morning except for a large doe that I missed early in the morning, but thing were going to change this after noon.   Click here for the story

Nate's 10-point buck

Nate's 10-point buck

It was the last day of early muzzleloading Nov 17, 2006. About 7:15 am I heard a deer moving down the ridge. I blowed on the Translator and here he come. It was a large spike. As he was working up the hill he stopped and looked to his left. It didn't take me long to see what he was nervous about. The 10-point buck came out the ridge and ran the spike off. I went back to my Translator grunt call. He stopped in his tracks and turned back around. He gave me the perfect shot.

Robert's 6-point buck

“ I know he smelled me because he was snorting constantly.”

November 8, 2006 was a big day for Robert Picken Sr. of Quebec, Canada. He sat in a ladder stand 20 feet up in a patch of maples, cedars and pine that provided him a good view of the surroundings. Things had been quiet a while when a deer snorted at him. He figured a deer had winded him, but after 10 minutes the deer was still snorting, and Pickens decided to take a chance. He pulled out his Knight & Hale EZ Grunt-Er and grunted at the deer.  Click here for the story

Michael's 8-point buck

Michael's 8-point buck

It was around 10 am in Sumpter County Florida, I smelled what I thought was a deer up wind of me. A few minutes later I saw a doe walk by about 75 yards away. I grabbed my Knight & Hale buck grunt and grunted at her. After the second grunt an nice 8-point setpped out. I took him with my Savage .30-06. Just after I shot, a second buck 11-point setpped out right behind him. I also harvested him. (In Florida you are allowed 2 deer per day). Thank you for your fine product. I will from this day forward carry my Knight & Hale grunt with me on every buck hunt I go on.

Coyote Hunting in Ohio

out from the brush comes a coyote

On June 23, 2007, I was hunting in Jefferson County, Ohio on private land that I had previously hunted for deer and turkey.  The landowner was sure the coyote were there.  About 5:30 a.m. I started calling with a mouse squeaker and a Knight & Hale Coyote Howler.   Click here for the story

Jim's 9-point buck

Jim's 9-point buck

I harvested this deer in Tioga, PA on Friday - October 13th at 9 a.m. I watched him do a rub on a tree then he stepped out but I could not get a shot. He started to leave and I got my Knight & Hale EZ Grunt-Er and grunted three times. He then disappeared in some thick brush and I did not see him for 2 minutes then he stepped out giving me a 24 yrd shot with my bow. He ran about 75 yards. The best buck I shot yet. He was 143 lbs field dressed. His rack measured 16 inches inside spread. I had only sat in that stand for 2.5 hrs the opening day and 3 hrs on this day.

Thanks To A Couple of Good Ole' Kentucky Boys

My daughter and i try never to miss a show and I would like to say thanks to a couple of good old kentucky boys for putting out such good info on there shows to share with people like my daughter and I. The buck has a green score of 174 3/8 now I am concentrating on a 150 class for my daughter using the same drive that inspired me from David and Harold.

Turkey Hunting in Salisbury, NC

Avery's First Turkey!

Thank you so much for your simple to use quality calls. Just this morning I had the great pleasure of taking my 8-year old son turkey hunting with a Ol Yeller SLA TEK with us. My son Avery shot his first bird this morning. From the first hit on the Ol Yeller this young bird came a running! (Jake 4 inch beard) I am a deputy sheriff so hunting time is few and far between. Your product was great. I am a beginner at turkey hunting. We have only had a season for 3 years now. I have taken birds each year, but nothing was as great as getting to experience this with my son. Your products brought him in for a close 20 yard shot! We love your TV show, and Avery thought the "turkey guys" as he calls you might want to see a picture.

Thank you again!

Turkey Hunter's Youth Kit Saves the Day

Vasanas's Turkey

I'm writing this letter to tell you of the success my wife had using your product. This is her first year turkey hunting. She went out two days with no success. I went out and bought her your "Turkey Hunter's Youth Kit". She was so excited; she watched the video, read the pocket field guide, and practiced with the slate call. And was hunting again. Five days later she called in and bagged her first gobbler all by herself!! She was so excited and is forever hooked on turkey hunting!! Thank you very much for a great product. I have also include a picture of wife and gobbler hope you enjoy it. Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Wyatt and Vasana H.

Turkey Hunting Success

First turkey of the season

On my 1st turkey hunt of the season I was lucky enough to have brought along my new Knight & Hale slate call and my Knight & Hale diaphragm call. They really did the job. I got my first turkey, and he was amazing! When he was on the ground the calls were getting him angry he was really carrying on with the fighting purr, and he was drumming hard. Then I took my first turkey. He had an 11 1/2 inch beard and 1 3/8 inch spurs. Thank you Knight & Hale.

Knight & Hale Pro Staffers Take On Public Land Osceolas

Rich's Osceola

Pro Staffer Rich Miller (Anderson, S.C.) and Mick Bowman (Garnett, Kan.) headed to Florida during the first week of the season to take on Florida's tough public land Osceolas as the first bird of their Grand Slams. "We were hunting public land in Gothe Wildlife Management Area," Miller said. "The turkeys were slow and not gobbling well, so we were unable to be aggressive with our calling." The pair used patience and soft calling with the new Turkey Tech Diaphragms to coax the birds within gunrange after locating them with the classic Widowmaker Tube Call.

Brian's 22 lbs. Turkey

I am so glad I washed my hunting cloths using Knight & Hale Ultimate Laundry Detergent before the 2005 Arkansas deer season. I know that scent elimination was critical in helping me take this buck!   Click here for the story
