It was the last day of early muzzleloading Nov 17, 2006. About 7:15 am I heard a deer moving down the ridge. I blowed on the Translator and here he come. It was a large spike. As he was working up the hill he stopped and looked to his left. It didn't take me long to see what he was nervous about. The 10-point buck came out the ridge and ran the spike off. I went back to my Translator grunt call. He stopped in his tracks and turned back around. He gave me the perfect shot.
Thanks to the Translator I got him stopped and made a great shot.
